In-Person Grief Therapy Group
Dr. Amanda Beaman, C.Psych
Grief can feel overwhelming, especially when the world around you continues to move forward. The holidays, family gatherings, or even everyday moments can bring reminders of the person you’ve lost. During these times, it’s easy to feel isolated in your pain.
At York Region CBT, we understand that grief looks different for everyone. Healing is not about “moving on” or forgetting, but about learning how to carry your loss while also finding ways to keep living fully. Our Grief Therapy Group is designed to provide a safe and compassionate space where you can connect with others who truly understand what you are going through.
This group offers more than just support, it’s an opportunity to share your story, listen to others, and begin to find hope again in community. Together, we’ll explore ways to navigate the challenges of grief, especially as we approach the holiday season, when feelings of loss can be even more profound.
