Progressive Muscle Relaxation (PMR) is a widely used technique to help build awareness of tension in the body and to apply a technique to release it. This technique has been shown to help with sleep difficulties, body tension and anxiety. Best results are obtained if practiced daily for a training phase of two weeks- at a time in the day when you are alert (not before bed to start). After the training phase use the technique whenever you like!
