As the situation around COVID-19 continues to evolve, we are working hard to ensure the continual delivery of our programs. As a clinic providing mental health services, and during this pandemic, individuals and families need our continued help and support more than ever. The health and well-being of our clients and community members is, and always has been, our top priority.
We have taken our lead from public health authorities. To address the challenge that COVID-19 poses, we have moved all of our services to our online platform. We hope that this will offer a bridge to essential services for our clients who are doing their part to self-isolate at home.
There is currently good evidence that psychological services, including diagnostic assessments and evidence-based therapies such as CBT and Mindfulness-based therapies are effective when delivered in an online format. We understand that this may be an adjustment, as coming to a safe space to meet with your therapist in person is often an integral part of what promotes healing and a sense of belonging. However, in this unprecedented time, we must take precautions to keep our community safe while doing our best to provide continuity in care. We appreciate your patience and understanding, and will provide updates as the situation evolves.
**During this difficult time, we have been working behind the scenes to develop some free programs for our community. We are offering a free parenting workshop and free mindfulness sessions. Find out more about free programs and workshops by clicking below. You will be taken to our Facebook page:
