Relationship Difficulties

We frequently hear from clients that they would like to improve their relationships. What makes a relationship unhealthy or unfulfilling to one person, may not be so for another person. In therapy, we explore dynamics in relationships in a wide range of areas including romantic partners, parents and children, and siblings. Therapy usually begins with each person building awareness of some of the unhelpful communication or behaviours that are unhelpful to the relationship, and then, drawing from evidence-based techniques, therapists help clients change any unhelpful patterns to more helpful, and healthy ones.
