York Region CBT  provides appropriate and effective assessment and treatments tailored to each of our client’s needs, with the goal of  improving their well-being and quality of life.

Assessment

The first meeting involves an assessment of the client’s difficulties, diagnosis (if appropriate), and a discussion about treatment options.  This meeting lasts one hour.

Treatment

York Region CBT offers evidence-based treatments including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy, Habit-Reversal Training, CBT for Insomnia, Mindfulness-based Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention.
